Day with AI: Glass Cards, Real Data Replacing Fakes, and Auto-Generated Documents. 11 Commits on a Sunday.

What I worked on

Sunday. Client project — AI matchmaking platform needed to go from "looks like a prototype" to "looks like a product worth six figures". Plus some things that looked finished but were faking it under the hood.

What I did

Premium redesign — all pages

The entire platform got a new visual identity inspired by premium SaaS products:

  • New design system applied to EVERY page — not just landing, but also dashboard, login, companies
  • Glass cards (glassmorphism), gold accents, conic gradients on CTAs
  • Login pages — glass cards with consistent styling
  • Companies page — narrative flow, glass pricing, animated CTA
  • Timeline replaced with horizontal process circles — cleaner, more modern
Real data replacing mocks

This was an important step — demos need to look credible:

  • Dashboard charts now show actual data, not hardcoded numbers
  • Removed inflated values — data reflects reality
  • Filter for result quality — weak matches don't show up
  • 5 fixes to company dashboard for demo flow
Auto-generated contracts

New feature — automatic document generation in the platform:

  • Document generated under the company's name (not the platform's)
  • Document-style preview — looks like an actual document, not a form
  • Session cookie fix on registration + recurring demo notifications

Time: AI vs without AI

Dashboard fixes + UX polish1 day~1h
Total8-12 days~8.5h

What I learned

  • Fake data in demos is a ticking time bomb — the client asks "are these real numbers?" and you go "um, no". Better to replace it immediately
  • Glassmorphism looks premium, but you have to watch contrast — transparent cards on dark backgrounds can eat text readability
  • Generating documents (contracts, reports) directly in the platform is a killer feature — the client doesn't need to switch to Word
