Day with AI: Two npm Packages in One Day, a Video Pipeline from the Future, and 25 Commits.

What I worked on

Monday. The day when "I'll just tweak a few things" turns into 25 commits and two new open-source packages on npm.

What I did

Task management — from zero to npm publish

A complete module for task management and time tracking. Shell scripts, automatic session tracking, n8n automations for converting meeting notes into tasks. E2E fixes — security (injection), portability, non-interactive mode for agents. Result: a public npm package anyone can install. From idea to production in one day.

CRM module — v1.1.0 agent-ready update

Upgrade of the existing CRM module. Non-interactive scripts, expanded documentation, validation with auto-fix. New version published to npm. Goal: enable AI agents to work with it without human intervention.

Video pipeline — 37 Remotion components

This was the big one. Complete rewrite of the video pipeline — talking head avatar, B-roll components, templates, error handling. 21 main components + 16 B-roll variants. Human-in-the-loop review system with checkpoints. Documentation including component catalog and pricing guide. From "I can make one video" to "I have a production system for automated content creation."

YouTube Intelligence pipeline

New pipeline for automatic YouTube content collection and processing. Plus research materials for an upcoming presentation.

Client PRD

Complete product requirements document for a client project. Requirements analysis, architecture design, specification. From meeting notes to a structured document.

Post draft for mid-week publication. Strategy, not impulse.

What I learned

• Two npm publishes in one day is realistic when you have clean structure and CI-ready scripts from the start — AI doesn't replace code quality, but dramatically speeds up the path from "done" to "published"
• Non-interactive mode for AI agents is a feature, not a nice-to-have — if your tool can't run without human input, it's dead for automation
• 37 video components sounds insane, but with AI the bottleneck is creative decision-making, not writing code — know what you want? You'll have it in an hour. Don't know? AI won't help
• Automatic session tracking completely eliminates the "forgot to start my timer" problem — the best time tracking is the kind you don't have to do manually
